The Apollo 11 Command Module is displayed in a plastic case. The main hatch is on display elsewhere in the museum. Located inside is the spacesuit worn by Michael Collins for the flight. |

Notice that sometime before 2002 the spacecraft was given a new plexiglas enclosure that matches its current shape. The former enclosure maintained the conical Apollo shape to the nose. |

Apollo CM Docking Hatch Cover. I'm not certain this is from Apollo 11, but it was at the Armstrong Museum. It was manufactured in Middletown, Ohio, which may be a reason it is displayed in this member of the Ohio Historical Society.
