This X-15 is displayed suspended from the ceiling in the Milestones of Flight at the NASM.  It is best viewed from the second floor balcony.  It is shown with the 'Q ball' nose replacing the needle like probe.  Although the NASA tail insignia is in place, the NASA 'meatball' is missing from the yellow vector near the nose.
