Test Model
OV-098*
Pathfinder
U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville , Alabama
Downloading Enterprise from image files Pathfinder is displayed mounted on an External Tank in a slightly angled position.  It is the only full stack Space Shuttle display in the US.  Pathfinder, however, is slightly shorter than the prototype. Originally created as a 'size-weight' analog to test cranes and ground support equipment at Marshal Space Flight Center, it was 'dressed up' for a trip to and display in Japan. It was given the honorary designation 'OV-098' after its retirement.

*OV-098 is an unofficial and retroactive designation
