Astronauts at Johnson Space Center use these training mock-ups to rehearse procedures for flight. The Full Fuselage Trainer is to the left, the e Crew Compartment Trainer is in the back behind a full-size Hubble Space Telescope mockup, and the Manipulator Development facility is in the foreground. The CCT pivots 90 degrees to simulate a vehicle on the pad. Visitors view the training area from an elevated glassed-in walkway. |
