This full size model of a Space Shuttle Orbiter Crew Cabin is named Atlantis. While the outside gives size and coloration information, it is not very detailed. Omitted are all tiles and other TPS except for the carbon-carbon nose (painted on), as well as some reaction-control system outlets and the navigation telescope s in front of the Commanders window. Entering at the door on the left, visitors enter a small theater and see the film "To Be an Astronaut". |
