A look into the exciting history of flight is available at the McDonnell Douglas Prologue Room. The aerospace exhibit draws thousands of visitors each summer. The Prologue Room is in the corporation's World Headquarters building at McDonnell Douglas Boulevard and Airport Road, adjacent to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri. The centerpiece of the exhibit contains full-size engineering mock-ups of the Mercury and Gemini spacecraft that carried America's first astronauts into space. The Mercury model is complete with Escape Tower and Retro-rocket Pack |
