# 16
MA-8
Sigma-7
United States Astronaut Hall of Fame, Titusville, FL
This capsule carried Wally Schirra. It is covered by plastic making photography difficult and is tipped on it's side to expose the heat-shield.  The hatch-opening is also covered with plastic. The outer skin plate has been removed below the window: that held the painted 'Sigma 7' insignia.

Former Location
This image from an earlier display period at the Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX. It appears that Sigma 7 still remains on this display stand, sans the cross supports. The same exterior shingles are missing as are those today.
