This Lunar Module is displayed in a depression. Most of it is below floor level. The stairway shown allows access to the Descent Stage. From the main floor you can look into the open hatch and view the interior. The ascent stage is missing some detail, like the strobe light and s-band antenna. Both the Steerable S-Band and Rendezvous Radar lack feed horns. The aft equiptment bay is also missing the radiator assembly seen on LM-9 at the KSC Apollo/Saturn V Center. Is this LM-19 or a mock-up?
This image is a mosaic made with a regular point and shoot camera at a recent visit to the MSI. Because of the displays location (and that awful color handrail), I attempted to get close and photograph the whole display by taking pictures from one spot. I then pieced them together the best I could before scanning the the resulting mosaic (I have new respect for the Pathfinder team with their Mars mosaics!) Some color differences are apparent, but overall it gives a good if distorted view. The bottom picture with the astronaut was from a second roll which my wife had developed in a larger size than the first, but the match is still decent.
