Gemini

Boilerplate

U.S. Air Force Space Museum, Cape Canaveral Air Station, FL
Loading Gemini from Image Files
This Gemini Boilerplate was originally part of an aerospace garden at nearby Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida. It is currently undergoing a restoration:  the nose, doors and aft heat shield are being worked on.  The retro and instrument modules are stored in a nearby warehouse.  Plans for this item call for it to be restored to a hands on display, allowing guests to climb inside after walking through the original Gemini White Room rescued from the gantry at Launch Complex 19.  More info and pictures as the work progresses.
