Gemini
Boilerplate
MSC-307
USS Hornet Museum, Alameda, CA
Loading Gemini from Image Files
Another Gemini Boilerplate that was probably used in water training, due to the heavy tow ring on the front.  It provides a good comparison to the Soviet Salyut reentry module beside it. The folks on the Hornet are eager to know if anyone knows the history of this artifact. Bob Fish, a trustee there, writes, "The Gemini BP is on loan from the W Foundation in Marin County.  They had purchased this a year ago from a private individual in Grass Valley, CA who himself had bought it from a local school where it had been in their playground for many, many years."
