Solid Rocket Booster
Thiokol Missile Systems, Promontory, UT
This static display of an SRM (Solid Rocket Motor) is an engineering model used to design the Space Shuttle boosters.  It is missing the Aft Skirt, which contains the nozzle and actuators (the nozzle pictured is a mockup).  It is located in the Rocket Garden at the Thiokol plant where empty casings are sent to be refueled.
