Formerly at New York Hall of Science, New York, NY

Loading Saturn V from Image File This mockup of the thrust skirt of the S-1C was erected in 1964 for the New York World's Fair. This was before the first launch of the Saturn V, and before some changes were made. Most noticeable are the ram scoops located on either side of the fin. This article can be seen in the final battle scene of the movie "Men in Black". The U.S. Space Park was leveled in 2001 to make way for the new addition for the Hall of Science. The Saturn exhibit was destroyed, although one of the F-1 engine mockups remains on display.

Left: As pictured in "Men in Black". Agent Jay is confronting the Edgar Bug in the Space Park. Note the ram scoops are missing, but it is eerily similar to the above image. The Space Park wall is even seen behind it.
